10. Project 3. Other approach
In the tutorial, we came to a conclusion that I don’t necessarily have to produce visuals to illustrate how the mind patches information together. I might just as well work on a layout for the research paper that would aid the process of absorbing information simultaneously.
Another thing, if I treat quotes as a current of information in itself, separate from my writing, not simply supporting my train of thoughts, but sometimes expanding on the topics and widening associations, I might also treat this work as a collection of those quotes. These thoughts, ideas, and reflections can themselves become the matter to work with and arrange so that it would create a certain impression in the reader’s mind.
But as a person who doesn’t have any experience in graphic design, I struggled a lot with the layout and didn’t have an explorative approach, I just tried to come up with something practical that works, so here it goes.
My main intention was to put my text on a side, as minor in the context of gathered quotes which themselves evoke a certain way of thinking, and my narration would just somehow aid in threading it all together.
